Stay in a tiny house with a big personality. This adorable rural cottage in Accomac, Virginia is nestled between peaceful farm fields, woods, salt marsh and a creek. Beautifully appointed with comfort, design, and efficiency in mind, its central location makes exploring the Eastern Shore a breeze. Walk to a public dock for a boat ride to the ocean, or drive to four other beaches. Restaurants are nearby.

This adorable tiny house is a rural oasis and a wonderful retreat on its own or as a base camp for exploring the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The cottage is 225 square feet and sleeps three, yet feels larger due to a cathedral ceiling, spacious full bath, and plenty of natural light. Say goodbye to noise, traffic, and light pollution, and drink in wide open spaces and a big starry sky. There is a main house on the property where the owner lives with her family.

Guest Interaction

As much as needed. I am a guide on the side. I will stay out of your way but am available for anything you may need. I can recommend restaurants, things to do, or hook you up with personal guides or boat rides for a sunset cruise, fishing or a day trip to the beach. A printed guide is also provided for my favorite local spots.

Privacy

Your host lives in the main house on the property with her family. I try to greet guests on arrival but sometimes guests arrive at a late hour (which is fine) or I am driving kids around to activities. Iā€™m happy to chat if you are in the mood or leave you to your peace and quiet. We have a Jack Russell Terrier who will want to say hello. He is very friendly and we love him dearly.

Kitchen items are provided such as dishes, cups, silverware, cutting boards, pots/pans, dish soap, utensils, grilling tools, and the like. I also provide a few basic condiments such as salt/pepper, coffee with cream/sugar. If you are unsure about what to pack, drop a line with any questions. You will need to bring your own food and beach supplies.
