The Little Red House is a tiny house on a rural 50-acre farm in Accomac County on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Virginia. It is nestled between peaceful farm fields, woods, salt marsh and a creek and is perched about 100 feet from the main house where the host lives with her family. Privacy is promised.
Enjoy full use of the little house and roam the property, soak up the big sky and open space, drink in the sounds and pleasures of nature. Walk to a newly renovated public dock or drive to four other beaches. Its central location makes exploring the area a breeze. We are equidistant from Cape Charles to the south and Chincoteague to the north, and both are wonderful day trips. Many restaurants are serving take-out or outdoor seating. Or, cook on the outdoor grill and make your own fun.
Beautifully appointed with comfort, design, and efficiency in mind, the cottage sleeps three and feels much bigger than it actually is. We attribute this hygge approach to four elements: natural light, cathedral ceiling, large bath, and thoughtful, curated decor. You will immediately feel its charm, comfort, and sense of home. Many visitors leave wanting to build a tiny home!
